Christmas card - Don't forget my surprise candy

Happy Friday Folks - the weekend starts here.

In fact for me the week starts here. Ken's shoulder is much better and he has taken the sling off today, so thankyou to everyone who sent their good wishes to him. We both really appreciated your lovely comments. So he has decided to join Mum and me in Swanage for the week and Maddie is moving back in to look after the cats, so I am really pleased he will be with us and I am sure the sea air will help to get rid of the anaesthetic that is still in him and making him sleepy (or is that just a man thing????).

I just had to make a card this afternoon - really I should be packing, but I loved the challenge at Incy Wincy and the Colour Create Blog which is to make an all white card and you can use a coloured image. Hurrah, another Christmas card, I thought it fitted perfectly. I wanted to keep the image simple so I used a stencil, put it through the Big Shot with those lovely mats you use for the Impressabilities and Nestabilities and eh voila a fab image that I coloured up using DIs and a blending tool and edged with MS glitter glue. I also used a star embossing folder, an xcut snowflake punch and a MS border snowflake punch and some little gems.

I have a couple of other images similar to this that I experimented with but I don't have time to make them up into cards and perhaps will show you another time.

Right I must go and get some packing done before the family turn up for dinner.

Take care and watch out for more posts over the weekend.

Luv B xxxx
