It's Easter egg hunt day in the Brown household and a family lunch later, nine of us today - I am so blessed to have a family who live very near us and come for dinner every Sunday so I've decorated the conservatory and dining room and we are ready to go.
Do you remember my curio box? I found the duckling a few years ago and love the summery yellow yet simple carved look to it.
The sideboard is where I have cloches and change their displays several times during the year according to the season and I love the quote -
Family is where life begins and love never ends.
Lots of glass so sorry for the glare ....
... and the daffodils Ken bought me smell gorgeous.
I made a couple of simple peat pot nests, painting the eggs with DecoArt media acrylics- just soooo easy to do.
I gessoed the outsides of the pots and added the little birds.
Wishing you and your families a very Happy Easter.

The great gift of Easter is hope - Christian hope which makes us have that confidence in God, in his ultimate triumph, and in his goodness and love, which nothing can shake. Basil Hume
