Compendium of Curiosities week 14

Welcome Readers, I hope life is good with you.

Firstly a big warm welcome to Lisa at The Purple Place - lovely to see you Lisa and  thankyou for joining me on my creative journey.

Well it's week 14 of the Compendium of Curiosities challenge at Linda's lovely blog - Studio L3. What a week, basic masks, which is something I never do enough of and yet when I was in the classroom teaching, it was a technique I often used with my children when we were bookmaking. Tim describes how to do it on P.58 of his book and I decided to put this to good use on a page of my memories book I am making.

Here are a series of pics from start to finish. The first two show the masks I used, one is Floret mini mask and the other is called Borderline both by TH.
This is the book page and I have printed over the masking and added my embellishments. The idea is to make lots of tags and photo and journalling mats for pics and information to be added in later. These show the page with the tags in and the tags out. You can see a large one peeking out from the page itself.

This last photo shows how the little tags are kept in place - they are tucked in behind the embellishments. I have used another grungepaper flower and added a little lace flower I made, a ticket - with a pres stud, a heart covered in glitter (which doesn't show up too well) and a butterfly. There is also a charm hanging from a mini pin and a string of pearls at the bottom.

I have more pages in the pipeline and hopefully will be able to post them in due course.

Have a great weekend.

Take care. Luv B xxxx
