I am hosting the challenge this week for the very first time over at Moving Along with the Times and I set the theme as Vintage Pastel together with this sketch.
Our sponsor this week is Lilac Lemon Designs who have a range of rubber stamps in their store, including some lovely art deco images. Why don't you pop over and take a look at what they have got in stock. The winner of my challenge will be getting two stamps of their choice.
The papers are from my box of bits plus some freebie downloads. The frame I made using the Spellbinders Nestabilities and glitter. The butterflies are a MS punch with baby blue pearls down the body. I had some old pink lace in my lace jar and I sewed it onto pink paper then mounted it onto music paper.
The pocket watch is from a set of stamps by the Artistic Stamper. I stamped it twice on different papers so that the face has a subtle design on it, I backed it onto the same music paper I used behind the lace.
The hearts were cut on the Cricket and I sewed them together and added the little flower and gem and the key and lock are a Quickutz die. The smaller coloured flowers are bought but I cut them and overlapped one petal to give extra dimension and edged with DIs. The little white flower was from Hobby Craft. So that's about it really, seems simple enough but it took hours - I have really slowed down again lately, don't know why.

For those of you who have read to the bottom here I have a freebie give away this week to celebrate hosting my first challenge. I have 2 papers, a border and a tag as a set for you to play with. They are from a CD called Piquant, Shabby 'N' Chic. The designs are copyright to Chris Warner 2009 who kindly has given me permission to offer these to you on my blog. Of course there are the usual provisos, they are for personal use only and must not be passed on to or sold to other people. If you know someone who would like them, please direct them here so they can download them for themselves. Thankyou.
Well have a happy crafting day and weekend and lets see some pastel and vintage designs from you on the MAWTT site.
