Destination Inspiration at AVJ

Welcome to a new week and a busy Monday morning for me. This is the first of my posts today where I am inviting you to pop over to A Vintage Journey to see how I made the shabby leaves on my autumn canvas that I posted on Friday. 

I had found this picture on the internet and wanted to recreate the wonderful colours and veins.

    Oh Brenda, these leaves are fabulous. I love making leaves and wow, did yours ever come out realistic. Now I'm inspired to go make more :)

    They really do look realistic! Your card is a piece of art! I love how the gold (golden sun) shines behind the pumpkin.
    I don't know about the size, but this very well could be a big poster size wallhanging. Even as a digital card of printed poster it would look great, ofcourse then we'll miss out on the texture but still, I love it.
