PanPastels - Ice-cream Colours

Ice cream colours for PanPastel UK this week.

OK I think Summer is going to pass us by this year, unless we get a sudden heat wave. I can't remember a year when we had so much rain as we have had this past few months.

So I hope this helps us to think about what summer might be like if it were to happen.

I stamped images using Crafty Individuals plate 284 and 131, using Rose Madder Archival ink pad and coloured with pro-markers.

The background is made by sticking down masking tape, tissue paper, a doiley and card letters and numbers then covering with white gesso.
When dry I used some masks and PanPastels, spraying with a fixative before adding anything else.
(I saw something similar to this on the SSS blog and used it for inspiration).

To finish I used the images and added lots of flowers and bits and pieces using PanPastels on the die-cuts and the mould.

If you pop over to the challenge blog to enter this week you will be in with a chance of winning a set of pans and tools from Your Creativity Store.

Have fun whatever you are doing today and I hope it stays dry if you are in the UK.

  8. Hi Brenda, this is a beautiful project! Lots of detail and dimension. It's amazing how different our summers are this year...you with all the rain, ours with so much heat. We spend most of the time inside with the AC on. The gardens don't get much TLC, and at this rate will be done by the end of July. Hopefully we'll all see some change soon.

The jet stream is south of the Uk at the momentand we won't get summer unless it drifts north.

Q for you...do I need a linky tool to join in your Tuesday Treasures?
My mind goes blank at some blogging technical stuff.
