The challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show this week is STARS and Maddie (my daughter) just loves anything to do with them, so I thought I would alter a box for her. She is also a No:1 Star to me (hence the tag and banner).
Supplies used
Star paper (from Costco)
TH Rosette die
Stampotique banner stamp
Various embellishments, silver paper stars run through an embossing folder, painted black with some of it rubbed off and the little stars sandpapered.
I have used the rosette die again to make the large star shape (Remember my heart? See tutorials above). I think it has worked quite well, especially with a punched star on it. If anyone is interested in how it's made I will happily do another tutorial. I stamped some 200gm card with a text and music stamp before cutting the die, then made it up in the normal way. Maddie's name was computer generated using an old typewriter font.
