This week the challenge over at OSAAT can be either a 'Girly' theme or use a photo for inspiration, or of course you could combine to two if you want to.
The sponsor this week is KennyK and the winner will receive 3 digis of their choice. KennyK images are becoming increasingly popular so go take a look at the designs and also pop over to the OSAAT challenge blog to see how the DT have used their images for the theme this week. I can assure you there are lots of lovely creations to peek at.
My card this week uses KennyK's 'Drama Queen' and it immediately told me I needed to use bright and girly colours. I found the backing paper in a pad from Papercraft 4 You and used it for my colour inspiration. I used the bright pink dotty paper because I feel it gives it the dramatic look and helps make the image pop out more. It's quite a cas card for me but you will notice I have added a bit of distress inks - couldn't resist it.
I used ptomarkers for the colouring in and added some stickles on the fluffy part of the jacket. I have only added two embellishments, one is a clip I had in a box and the other I made.
I am not going to add all the materials and name the papers and colours to my posts as it takes a long time to do and I am not sure it adds real value to it. But if there is something you want to know anytime don't hesitate to contact me and I will do my best to answer.
Please remember to keep an eye open for the special challenge at OSAAT coming up in September where we will be hoping to raise awareness of, and hopefully some funds for, autism and Cameron.
